The Nine Totems

Each person has nine animal essences or totems that walk through life with them, teaching and guiding them and in some cases, protecting them. These nine totems usually remain the same throughout your lifetime; however, major life alterations can  cause your totems to change as your totems adapt to your new life style.

Your totems are found in 7 directions around your spirit: East, South, West, North, Above, Below and Within. The last two animals are walking beside you at all times; your Right Side (male) and your Left Side (feminine). While sometimes the living animal is around you, most often they are only the essence of the animal.

At different times in your life, you may also have Special Helpers and/or Special Protectors.  These stay with you for an limited period of time, depending on the challenges that you must face.  They usually appear in person, in dreams or during meditation.

Children also benefit greatly from having their totems around them.  Placing figurines or stuffed versions of their totems in their room is very soothing for a child -- and brings the essence of their totems even closer. Their room becomes a safe haven and your child will be happy there. They grow up instinctively knowing their animal -- even if they've never heard of totems.

Your Personal Reading

Using the Animal Medicine Card deck as a basis only, I will read your Nine Totems. I've added over 140 different cards to the deck including Celtic totems, Fantasy totems, and others suggested by past readings. The basic Medicine Card deck has only three birds (Hawk, Heron and Owl), while my deck has over two dozen which allows me to precisely hone into your totems. 

I connect to your totems through your name so make sure you give me that, either in the comment section of PayPal or by sending me an email.  First and last name is fine -- and it can be the name you go by -- for example, if your name is Elizabeth Jones but you go by Beth Jones,  then "Beth Jones" is all I need.

I offer four different reading options:

(1) an email reading
(2) a person-to-person telephonic reading
(3) a follow-up telephonic reading (for a prior email reading)
(4)  an email reading plus a mini totem
 

Important Note:

Not all animals that you like or sense are totems; some are past life connections; some are Special Helpers or Protectors; others are messengers from your guides; and some may be gifts from passed loved ones.  Therefore, let me know if you think you know your totems or feel certain animals around you so that I can give you a more complete reading.

If you don't receive your reading by the third day...
Please make sure that your email does not have a spam blocker that it stopping my emails.  If you haven't received a confirmation from me by the third day, then there is a problem with your email.  If you have a different email address, let me know so that I try can that one.  If you still don't hear from me, then email me your phone number and I'll contact you that way.

(2) Telephone Reading

A Person-to-Person Telephonic Reading which includes the placement and description of your nine totems, a personal explanation of your totems, how to use them and what they mean for you.  After the reading, I will send you an email version of the reading.  Please see the "Instructions for Telephone Readings" further down the webpage.  At the end of the reading, if you are interested in the mini-totems, let me know and I'll tell you which of your totems I have available.

(3) Follow-up Reading

This is a Follow-Up Telephonic Reading after you have done the Email Reading (Reading #1) which explains each of your totems in depth, shows you how to use each of them, and what each totem means to you.  (If you have not done an Email Reading beforehand, then please use Reading #2, the Phone Reading, instead.)  Please see the "Instructions for Telephone Readings" further down the webpage.  At the end of the reading, if you are interested in the mini-totems, let me know and I'll tell you which of your totems I have available.

(4) Email Reading with a Mini Totem

A Personal Reading sent via Email in a Word document which includes the nine totems, their direction and description, plus a mini totem sent in the mail which will be infused with the totem's essence.  The totem you receive will be the one you need the most at this time.   Please let me know if you prefer the Beanie Baby version of your totem.

Instructions for Telephone Readings

After making your payment, please email me with several choices of a date and time (between 1:00 pm and 9:00 pm Arizona time) which is Mountain Time, but we do not observe Daylight Savings Time. Since I have a free long-distance plan, within the U.S., I can use my phone; International, we'll need to use your phone.  I'll email you back with further instructions.
